Speakers
Emerald de Leeuw LL.B, LL.M, MSc. is the CEO of EuroComply; a software company that helps companies manage GDPR compliance. Emerald is an internationally recognised Data Protection specialist (BBC, Bloomberg, and Irish Times). She was recently awarded the European Innovator of the Year 2017 award by the European Commission, Parliament and EYIF in Brussels for her work with EuroComply. Emerald is also a lecturer at the Law Society of Ireland on the Technology Law and Data Protection Courses and she is Harvard Law certified in Intellectual Property.
Stephanie Tutton is a Data Protection Subject Matter Expert and Senior Analyst of EuroComply. After obtaining her law degree at the University of Law in London, Stephanie completed her Masters in European Union Law at Leiden University where she specialised in data protection law. During her Masters she was contracted as an International Consultant for the OSCE, as well as completing pro-bono work placements with Temple Garden Chambers as well as the EU’s judicial cooperation agency Eurojust.
